Organized in 1960, the Gilbert Historical Museum moved to the old elementary which was deemed a historical building in 1980. The museum is only open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults, $1.50 for children ages 5 to 12, and kids under age five are free.
The Ahwatukee Country Club is an 18-hole golf course that is rated at par 71.5. You will enjoy playing the John Boulla course, which features three sets of tees at each hole. From the farthest tees the course is 6,713 long with a slope rating of 126.
